In Riga village, collecting water is a full-time job — pulling girls out of school and endangering health.
Desertification and climate unpredictability are punishing farmers in Northern Nigeria, trapping families in poverty and hunger.
The Water for Life Initiative will install a solar-powered mechanized borehole, capable of pumping 10,000 L of clean water daily, directly into the heart of Padan Gwari.
