A Village Left Behind

Despite being on the fringes of an urban township, Kujama remains neglected —

its 3,500 residents relying on unsafe, hand-dug wells susceptible to contamination. Disease outbreaks, high infant mortality, and lost productivity are sadly routine.

Why This Project Matters

  • Women walk 6 km daily for water

  • Typhoid outbreaks occur every rainy season

  • Less than 20% of residents currently have access to potable water

What This Project Will Do

FracomTech will deliver a solar-driven borehole with 4 community access taps, drastically bringing down collection time and exposure to contaminated sources. The project will:

  • Create 24/7 access to clean water

  • Improve household hygiene & sanitation

  • Stop girls from dropping out of school

Your donation brings health and hope to an entire village.
